Family has always been at the centre of how I approach my life, my work and now, this new chapter as a wedding officiant.

I believe that families can take all forms and I see taking part in the official creation of a new family as a tremendous privilege and responsibility. Those who decide to take this step in formalizing a union deserve that celebration to be steeped in joy, laughter and solemnity.

As your officiant, I will be with you from the early planning to the day you exchange vows ensuring that you are supported and in capable, steady hands. As a journalist, moderator and radio host, I’ve spent much of my career speaking publicly and facilitating deep conversations. My ability to create a welcoming intimate space, no matter the size or scope of your wedding, is a source of pride for me.

I am blessed to be part of a large close-knit family. It’s not something I chose, it just happened, but somewhere along the way someone chose someone else (thanks mom and dad), vows were exchanged and a family was born. I’d love to be there to help you along on your journey.
